For modified-release formulations, PK datasets obtained from multiple dosage strengths are integrated and systematically curated to build a robust population pharmacokinetic model. Key covariates affecting systemic exposure including body weight, age and gender are identified and quantified to refine safe and effective dosing regimens, generating critical modeling evidence for new drug marketing applications.
